About WOO X

WOO X, formerly Wootrade, launched its spot exchange in 2021, incubated by the Taipei-based quantitative trading firm Kronos Research and registered in the Cayman Islands.

The platform is built around a zero-fee spot trading model, in which staking 1,800 WOO tokens unlocks zero maker and taker fees. We connect to both the spot venue and WOO X Futures.

For automation, zero fees change which strategies are viable. High-frequency scalping and market making are normally killed by fee drag; on a zero-fee tier the same strategy can be net positive on spreads that would not cover costs elsewhere. If you have a strategy that backtests marginally profitable before fees, this is the venue to retest it on.

Strategies you can run on WOO X

• Arbitrage: exploit price differences between two connected venues, so it needs a second exchange
• DCA: average into a position on a schedule or on drawdown triggers
• Grid trading: ladder orders through a range and work the swings inside it
• Market making: quote both sides and earn the spread
• Ping pong: buy a level, sell the next one up, repeat
• Scalping: short-horizon entries and exits on your own tick interval
• Signals: trade an external webhook, from TradingView or your own source, with each incoming signal firing the bot immediately
• WaveRunner: grid trading with anchor-scale safety and auto re-anchoring
• Zone recovery: hedge a losing position rather than close it, and work back to flat
• Custom HaasScript: Lua-based, 750+ built-in commands, visual or full-script editors

WOO X's spot and derivatives markets are separate integrations on our side, so one set of API keys gives your bots both order books and a spot strategy and a leveraged one can run side by side.
